James Bond Aston Martin Vanquish spotted in Kuwait — سيارة جيمس بوند أستون مارتن فانكويش في الكويت

أرسل صديق لي هذه الصورة لسيارة جيمس بوند 007 أستون مارتن فانكويش هنا في الكويت. تم صنع السيارة لفيلم جيمس بوند مت في يوم آخر الذي عرض في عام 2002. عقدت شركة فورد للسيارات, التي كانت تمتلك شركة أستون مارتن في ذلك الوقت، عقد اتفاق مع شركة اي-او-ان لصناعة أربعة من هذه السيارات الخاصة لاستخدامها في المؤثرات الخاصة ومشاهد الاثارة من الفيلم. فتم تجهيز أربع سيارات بنظام دفع رباعي مأخوذ من سيارة فورد إكسبلورر ومحرك 8 سلندر بقوة 300 حصان من سيارة فورد موستانج . وتم تركيب المحرك في أخر حفرة المحرك لاتاحة تركيب الصواريخ المركبة وراء الشبك الأمامي و ليسع نظام الدفع الرباعي

وقيل إن اثنين من السيارات تحطمو خلال التصوير و بقي سيارتين فقط. وتم بيع السيارتين المتبقيتين في ما بعد في مزادات مختلفة لبعض هواة جمع السيارات. هل يا ترى تم شراء هذه السيارة من قبل مجمع سيارات كويتي! أم أنها هنا ليتم عرضها في متحف أو مناسبة!؟

A friend of mine sent me this picture of the James Bond 007 Aston Martin Vanquish spotted in Kuwait. The car was made for the James Bond movie Die Another Day released back in 2002. Ford Motor Company, owners of Aston Martin back then, made an agreement with EON production company to make four of these special car to be used for the special effects and action scenes of the movie. The four cars were equipped with a four wheel drive system from Ford Explorer and a 300 hp Ford V8 engine from the Mustang. The engine was fitted as far back as possible to fit the rockets fitted behind the front grille and the four wheel system.

Two of the cars were said to be damaged during filming and only two remains. The two remaining cars were sold in different auctions to some car collectors. Could this car be purchased by a Kuwaiti collector! or are they here to be displayed in a museum!
