أطلقت نيسان رسميا عن سيارة باثفايندر 2013 الجديدة كليا بتصميم خارجي و داخلي جديد بالكامل و قاعدة شاصي نوع يونيبودي جديدة. كما تم تخفيف الوزن بحوالي 500 رطل مقارنة مع الجيل السابق و قدرة سحب ستاندرد تصل إلى 5000 رطل. وقد تحسن أيضا استهلاك الوقود أكثر من 30 في المئة عن باثفايندر 2012

و تتميز باثفايندر الجديدة كليا بمقاعد متعددة الاستخدامات جديدة تناسب سبعة ركاب بشكل مريح. و شاشه جديدة تعمل باللمس في وسط لوحة القيادة و توفر السيطرة على نظام الملاحة وأنظمة السيارة الأخرى و الإعدادات. خيارات أخرى تشمل أيضا تنبيه هواء الاطارات و المراقبة الشاملة لحول السيارة

سيارة باثفايندر 2013 تأتي مزوده بمحرك سعة 3.5 ليتر 6 سلندر موصلة بالجيل الجديد من ناقل الحركة الفريد اكسترونيك سي-في-تي (ناقل الحركة المتغير باستمرار). وينتج المحرك 260 حصانا عند 6400 دورة في الدقيقة و 240 رطل قدم من عزم الدوران عند 4400 دورة في الدقيقة. و سيتوفر بالدفع الرباعي أو الخلفي و بأربعة نماذج وهي اس, اس-في, اس-ال و بلاتينوم. وسيتم الإعلان عن الأسعار قرابة الخريف قبل أن تتاح للبيع

Nissan has officially unleashed the all-new 2013 Pathfinder with a completely new exterior and interior design and a new unibody platform. It also sheds 500 pounds of mass compared to the outgoing model with a standard towing capacity of 5000 pounds. Fuel economy has improved more than 30 percent over that of the 2012 Pathfinder.

Pathfinder’s all-new interior design features new versatile seating that fits seven passengers comfortably. A new touch-screen monitor, mounted in the middle of the instrument panel, that provides control of the available navigation system and other vehicle systems and settings. Other available new options includes Easy Fill Tire Alert and an Around View Monitor.

All 2013 Pathfinders come equipped with a 3.5-liter DOHC V6 engine matched with a next-generation Xtronic CVT® (Continuously Variable Transmission). The engine is rated at 260-horsepower at 6,400 rpm and 240 lb-ft of torque at 4,400 rpm. It will be offered in 4×4 and 4×2 drive configurations and in four models – S, SV, SL and Platinum. Pricing will be announced closer to the fall on-sale date.
