Official: McLaren reveals MP4-12C Spider — رسميا: مكلارين تكشف عن ام-بي4-12سي المكشوفة

أعلنت شركة ’ماكلارين أوتوموتيف‘ أمس سميا عن إطلاق طرازها الثاني ضمن عائلة ’إم-بي4-12سي‘ وهو طراز ’12سي سبايدر‘ المكشوف. ويتميّز هذا الطراز بنظام سقف صلب ينطوي و الذي يمكن تشغيله أثناء السير. السيارة تنتج قوّة 616 حصاناً والتي يولّدها محرّك ب8 اسطوانات سعة 3.8 ليتر و شاحن توربو مزدوج و ناقل حركة تتابعي بقابض مزدوج “دبل كلتش” بسبع سرعات. تتسارع السيارة من 0 إلى 100 كم/س خلال 3.1 ثانية وتصل إلى سرعة قصوى قدرها 329 كم/س. و لايزال بالإمكان رؤية المحرّك لسيارة ’12 سي سبايدر‘ عبر الغطاء الزجاجي الموجود خلف غطاء مقاعد السيارة الخلفي

شركة ماكلارين تعتبر من الشركات الرائدة في استخدام الكربون. ففي العام 1981, أطلقت ’ماكلارين‘ هيكل “شاسيه” أحادي من ألياف الكربون ضمن عالم الفورمولا 1 عبر سيارة السباق ’إم بي4/1‘، وفي 1992, طرحت ’ماكلارين إف 1‘ الأسطورية هذه التقنية ضمن قطاع سيارات الطرق العادية. وبما أن الهيكل الكستخدم في سيارة 12سي الكوبيه مصمّمة أساساً كسيارة مكشوفة، فإن خلية ألياف الكربون لسيارة ’12سي‘ والبالغ وزنها 75 كيلوغراماً فقط لم تتطلّب المزيد من التقوية لتستخدم في ’12سي سبايدر‘ المكشوفة والتي تزن 40 كيلوغراماً أكثر من الكوبيه

ويتم تشغيل السقف الصلب الموضّب عبر مفتاح موجود في القسم السفلي من الكونسول الوسطي داخل المقصورة، و يستغرق أقل من 17 ثانية للرفع أو الطي. ويمكن تشغيل هذا السقف حتى عندما تكون السيارة تسير بسرعة تصل إلى 30 كيلومتر في الساعة. ويوجد خلف السائق والراكب الجانبي زجاجاً يمكن أيضاً إنزاله ورفعه إلكترونياً. وعندما يكون السقف مطوياً، يكون هذا الزجاج بمثابة عاكس للهواء لتقليل الارتجاج. وعند غلق السقف، يمكن إنزال الشبّاك لإتاحة التمتّع داخل المقصورة بسماع صوت المحرّك. كما يمكن عند غلق السقف استخدام المنطقة الموجودة خلف غطاء المقاعد كمكان إضافي لتخزين الأمتعة وتم تصميم أمتعة لتتسع خصّيصاً في هذه المنطقة و تأتي هذه الأمتعة أساسا مع كل سيارة

ستتوفر السيارة ب17 لون طلاء خارجي من ضمنهم لون أصفر بركاني جديد. ويتوفر أيضا نظام رفع السيارة كميّزة اختيارية في طراز عام 2013. ويتيح هذا النظام رفع ’12سي سبايدر‘ من الأمام والخلف لتحسين مستويات الأرتفاع عن الأرض. وتسمح هذه التقنية برفع السيارة 40 ملم من الأمام و25 ملم من الخلف، ويمكن أن تبقى ’12سي سبايدر‘ كذلك بموقعها حتى سرعة 60 كلم/س

ويمكن للعملاء الأن أن يقوموا بزيارة برنامج التكوين الافتراضي الإلكتروني لسيارة ’12سي سبايدر‘ على شبكة الإنترنت والتعرّف على الخيارات التي يمكن من خلالها تخصيص السيارة. و تتوفر ’12سي سبايدر‘ الجديدة الآن للطلب لدى وكلاء ’ماكلارين‘ حول العالم من ضمنهم وكلاء الشرق الأوسط. ومن المتوقع المباشرة بأول عمليات التسليم للعملاء في شهر نوفمبر المقبل

McLaren Automotive announced yesterday the launch of its second model in the MP4-12C family, the new 12C Spider. With a unique RHT folding roof system that may be operated while on the move. The 12C Spider is fitted with a 616 hp 3.8-litre V8 twin turbo engine connected to a 7 Speed SSG dual-clutch transmission. Acceleration from 0-100 km/h is achieved in 3.1 seconds and top speed is at 329 km/h. A clear view of the 12C Spider’s engine is available through a glass screen positioned behind the tonneau cover.

McLaren is a carbon pioneer. In 1981 McLaren gave a debut to a carbon fiber monocoque chassis in Formula 1 with the launch of the MP4/1 race car, and in 1992 the legendary McLaren F1 introduced the composite technology to the world of road cars. With the 12C designed originally as a convertible, its 75kg ‘MonoCell’ required no additional strengthening for it to be used in the 12C Spider which weighs only 40kg more than the coupe.

The Retractable Hard Top of the 12C Spider is operated using a switch in the lower section of the center console inside the cabin, taking less than 17 seconds to raise or lower. The roof can be operated while the car is moving at speeds of up to 30 km/h. Behind driver and passenger, there is also a rear windscreen that can be electronically lowered and raised. With the roof lowered, it acts as wind deflector to minimize disturbance to the occupants. With the roof raised the rear window can be lowered, to allow enjoying the engine noise. With the roof raised the area under the tonneau can be used as an additional luggage area and there are specifically designed luggage available to fit this space and is supplied as standard with every 12C Spider.

The 12C Spider is now available in 17 exterior paint finishes including a new Volcano Yellow. A vehicle Lift will also be available as an option on the 2013 model year vehicles. The system allows the 12C Spider to be raised front and rear for improved ground clearance. It permits the vehicle to be raised by up to 40mm at the front and 25mm at the rear of the 12C Spider, and may remain in position at up to 60km/h.

Customers can visit the new 12C Spider online configurator, and discover a range of options that may be specified. The new 12C Spider is now available to order from all McLaren retailers across the globe including the GCC. First deliveries to customers are planned for November this year.
