وفقا لموقع أوتو-اكسبرس, تعمل مازيراتي حاليا على سيارة رياضية جديدة للتنافس مع بورش 911. يشاع أن تسمى غران-سبورت, ستكون بمحرك منتصف, بدفع خلفي و ذات مقعدين. المحرك هو ب6 اسطوانات و تيربو مزدوج وتصنع أكثر من 450 حصان متصلة بناقل سرعة بسبع سرعات نوع قابض مزدوج دبل كلتش

و من المرجح تباع غران-سبورت في عام 2015 لمنافسة 911 توربو القادمة وأن يكون سعرها حوالي 45,000 دينار كويتي

According to AutoExpress, Maserati is working on a new sport car to compete with the Porsche 911. Rumored to be called GranSport, it will be a mid-engined, rear-wheel-drive two-seater. Engine is a V6 twin-turbo charged making more than 450 hp connected to a seven speed dual clutch transmission.

The GranSport is likely to go on sale in 2015 to rival the upcoming 911 Turbo and expected to be priced around 45,000 KD.
